OUR CLUB

Established in 2013, SSM Cricket Club (SSMCC) is dedicated to building a proud tradition of developing youth cricket and life skills in our community of Sault Ste. Marie. Our club is committed to teaching teamwork, sportsmanship, and fostering a competitive yet fun spirit among our players.

At SSMCC, our primary goal is to create an environment where young individuals can excel in both cricket and personal growth. Drawing players from our community, local schools, colleges, and the university, we provide opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels to participate in the exciting sport of cricket.

Throughout the years, our cricket club has actively participated in various local and provincial tournaments, making our mark as a prominent cricket promoter in Northern Ontario. We continuously engage in summer and winter leagues, competing not only in our home city but also venturing to other communities like Sudbury, Timmins, North Bay, Thunder Bay, and Niagara Falls.

Since our inception, SSMCC has achieved remarkable milestones and garnered recognition for our dedication to the sport. We are proud winners of several trophies and cups, including being crowned Northern Ontario League Champions in 2017. Additionally, we have had the privilege of hosting and participating in numerous events, showcasing our hospitality and love for cricket to cities like Sudbury, Timmins, and Niagara Falls.
